54-year-old woman shot in Chatham
At about 12:30 a.m., a 54-year-old woman was shot while in the 700 block of East
79th Street while walking to a nearby store. Police do not believe she was the
shooter’s intended target. She was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center,
where her condition stabilized
