A man was killed by a hit-and-run driver on the South Side on an overpass above
the Stevenson Expressway early this morning.
He died at the scene about 4:30 a.m. in the 3100 block of South Damen Avenue
in the McKinley Park neighborhood. He was believed to be in his 50s.
Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Amina Greer said two people
were taken into custody in the 3600 block of South Honore Street a short time
later.
