A Fernwood neighborhood man died Wednesday night after crashing his convertible
into a parked vehicle and a tree in Englewood, possibly following a heart
attack.
A man identified as Ray Williams, 54, crashed his 2008 Crysler Sebring
convertible into a parked vehicle, then into a tree, in the 6000 block of South
Morgan Street about 8:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Williams, of the 10500 block of South Lafayette Avenue, was declared dead at
9:54 p.m. at Holy Cross Hospital.
It appears the victim suffered a medical emergency, possibly a heart attack,
before crashing his vehicle
