A 35-year-old man was killed during an apparent drive-by shooting this afternoon
in the South Side's Washington Park neighborhood.
The victim was standing on the street in the 5400 block of South Wabash
Avenue at about 2:40 p.m. when a vehicle pulled up, and at least one occupant
opened fire on him.
The victim was shot twice in the back and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he
was pronounced dead
