2 shot 1 shot dead in Austin
In the Austin neighborhood, two men were standing with a group of people in the
1000 block of North Lawler Avenue when someone fired into the crowd and hit
them.
Quincey
Simmons, 18, of the 1100 block of North Leamington Aveue, was dead on the scene. The other man, also 18, was shot in
the thigh and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was good.
