Man walking dog in Brighton Park shot, dog shaken but OK

A man walking his dog was shot twice just before 2:45 a.m. in the 4300 block of South Homan Avenue in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side. He's in critical condition at Mount Sinai Hospital with wounds to his abdomen and buttocks. The dog was not struck. Someone shot him from inside a passing vehicle
