just reading the PAIN of those who knew him - AGONIZING PAIN, PAIN PAIN ! Lord Jesus help this city in it's agony ! Heal us Lord, forgive us Lord ! I'm 52 yrS old. I recall the HUGE headlines back in about 1985 when the HS basketball star Benji Wilson was shot and killed for no reason on the street just outside a southside HS. HUGE headlines, and all of Chicagoland was proclaiming > "never again !"
It was RARE back then. Now it is everyday. Dyett is a good HS, so this young man was a good kid I presume. It is TIME a NEW LEADER to rise up to SPEAK THE TRUTH about this daily violence and killing in black communities in America. A new MLK to rise up and SPEAK the Truth to black people about the tragedy of thug culture that has destroyed the black community in Chicago and in most cities in America.
Thug life, rap music, tattoo'd sports 'hero's', the snoop doggy dog thug culture has DESTROYED black neighborhoods. Every street in every black nieghborhood in Chicago is stained with the blood of those slain, every street has the fingerprint of murdering thugs in our midst, those who will rob, steal, kill without conscience. Is it not time to go to the mountaintop and cry out to God and scream for the truth to be told ? The truth will set free is what Jesus said. Seeing how much bloodshed there is everyday in Chicago, clearly we are drowning in lies.
