A 14-year-old boy was dead on arrival at a hospital after being shot in the
chest this afternoon on the South Side.
The victim,
whose identity was not being released pending family notification, was
pronounced dead at Northwestern
Memorial Hospital.
Police responded to a call of shots fired bout 3 p.m. and found the boy
lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the chest in the 7300 block of South
Coles Avenue.

UPDATE:
The teen was among a group of people who argued with another group over whether
a bike was stolen about 3 p.m. Saturday. The groups parted ways but someone from
one group turned around and shot, hitting Jamal Lockett. He lived on the 7500 block of South Colfax Avenue

The same boys over on coles is the ones killing them people down there and getting away witj it
So far thay killed the three men on 76 coles in 2010 because thay wouldn stop selling weed on the block then a lil boy on 72& yates in October saying he broke into a drug spot of theres now a 14 year old boy saying he broke into one of thay drug houses come on now chicago look into wooda and thay king p don he calls all the murders and wooda caries them out im sure of it.
