Two women and a girl police believe to be sisters
were stabbed in a fight stemming from an “ongoing neighborhood dispute” in the
South Chicago neighborhood.
The incident occurred near 79th Street and Colfax Avenue about 9:25 p.m.
Thursday.The three victims, who live in the 7700 block of South Kingston Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood, had gotten into an argument with a man and a woman about 17 or 18 who are not in custody.
A 23-year-old woman was stabbed in the neck and was in serious but stable condition at Stroger Hospital. The other two, 21 and 17, were stabbed in the wrist and hand. They were both treated and released from Stroger Hospital.
