Two men were charged today in connection with a
Friday morning garage burglary, one of several garage burglaries that have
occurred recently in the city's Archer
Heights neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

other tools into a brown 2000 Jeep Cherokee that was parked near the garage. The owner investigated further, found that the door of the garage had been opened and several items were missing, and alerted police. A Chicago Lawn District officer heard a description on the robber and the getaway vehicle, leading the officer to pull over a car that matched that description on the 4100 block of West 47th Street.
Police said one occupant of the vehicle was Furczon Kazimierz, 49, of the 5000 block of South Komensky Avenue, who was later charged with one count of burglary.
