Woman shot in face while driving in Gresham

A woman was shot in the face while driving in the Gresham neighborhood on the Far South Side late Wednesday.
The woman, 38, was driving west in the 2000 block of West 84^th Street about 11:30 p.m. when a light colored car pulled alongside her and someone inside fired shots.
The woman was shot in the left side of the face and a passenger drove her to Little Company of Mary Hospital.
She was later transferred to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where she was listed in “stable” condition
