Chicago police officials are asking for the public's help to nab a man who
sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl on the West Side.
The attack
happened on April 10, at 7:30 a.m. as the girl was walking to school on the 3900
block of West Ohio Street in the East
Garfield Park neighborhood, according to a community alert issued
today.
As the girl was walking a man walked past and started talking to
her, police said. The man asked the girl her age and her phone number.
But when the girl refused to answer, the man grabbed her by the arm
and side and pulled her into a lot between two parked trucks and then sexually
assaulted her,.
The man was described as black, between the
ages of 20 and 23, 5-feet-10 inches tall and weighing 175 pounds, according to
the alert.
The man had a dark complexion, brown eyes and black
hair.
The man also told the girl that his name was "Lil C."
