A man who was pulled from the Chicago River this morning after he jumped from
the Clark Street bridge.
The man, in his 20s, was taken to Northwestern
Memorial Hospital in serious condition. He was later pronounced dead at 1:25
p.m.
The Chicago Police Marine Unit and the Chicago
Fire Department received a call shortly after 10 a.m. that someone had
jumped into the river.
About 10:30 a.m., the man was rescued near the 300 block of North Clark
Street
