A man was robbed of his Android phone and hit in the head early Friday morning on the Near North Side.
He was heading east on Erie Street near Dearborn Street, talking into his phone, when someone snatched the phone and another person hit him in the head.
The man told police he thought he was hit with a brick.
The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital because he needed stitches
