A man in his 20s came into Advocate Trinity Hospital about 7:20 a.m. with a
gunshot wound to the thigh after being shot earlier in the 7500 block of South
Kingston Avenue.
The man told police he was standing on a sidewalk on Kingston when a
four-door, blue sedan drove quickly past and one of the three or four men inside
fired shots at him. The man told police he is in a gang and his
attackers might be members of a rival gang
