A Chicago man was arrested and charged with sex-trafficking two juveniles and  two adults by force, according to federal officials.
Carl Brandon Smith,  24, was arrested last week and is expected to appear in U.S. District Court in  Chicago on Thursday after being charged with forcing the victims to engage in  sex for money and transported one of the juveniles from Wisconsin to Illinois to  engage in prostitution, federal officials said in a press release.
Smith,  who is also known as "Moo", had a court hearing last Friday after being arrested  the day before where the charges were outlined against him.
Smith was charged with two counts of sex-trafficking of a minor and  by force, two counts of sex-trafficking by force, and one count of transporting  a minor across state lines to engage in prostitution in a five-count indictment  that was returned by a federal grand jury last Thursday.
Smith forced one of the juveniles to engage in sex acts for money  between August and November 2010, officials said. He engaged in sex-trafficking  of the second juvenile between February and July 2011 after transporting that  victim from Wisconsin to Illinois.  Smith also allegedly forced  two other victims who were both 18 or older at the time, to engage in sex acts  for money beginning in 2011 through March of this year.
All five counts carry a mandatory minimum sentence of at least 10  years to a maximum of life in prison and a maximum fine of $250,000,
