A 49-year-old man sitting in a car with two others was shot and wounded during
an attempted holdup just before 2:30 a.m. this morning in the 8000 block of
South Michigan
Avenue in the city's Chatham
neighborhood.
The victim was struck in the back and forearm and taken to Advocate Christ
Medical Center in Oak Lawn in "stable condition,".
The gunman fled and hadn't been apprehended
