Woman stabbed in neck in Gresham neighborhood

A woman was stabbed in the neck this morning on the South Side in the city's Gresham neighborhood.
According to preliminary reports, the woman called police shortly after 9 a.m. and said she had been stabbed in the neck on the 1600 block of West 78th Street.
Her attacker, a woman she knew, fled the scene.
The victim was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with trauma
