Two held, one sought after shots fired at police

A man fleeing from Chicago police fired shots at officers this morning in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

No one was injured and police did not return fire when it happened about 10:55 a.m. in the 700 block of North Christiana Avenue.
When officers tried to stop three people suspected of having illegal drugs, one of them ran away. While officers pursued him, he pulled a gun and began firing.
NoThe gunman threw the gun onto a roof nearby and police recovered it. Two of the three were arrested. one was struck by gunfire and officers did not return fire.
