A man was knocked to the ground and left momentarily unconscious during a robbery early this morning in a Loop subway tunnel.
The victim was accosted from behind while he was walking in the pedway tunnel connecting the Dearborn Street subway to the State Street subway.
The victim, a Chicago man in his early 20s, was knocked down and left "momentarily unconscious" in the 4 a.m. robbery and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was listed in "stable" condition with a bump on his forehead.
No one was arrested and the victim didn't get a very good look at the suspect or suspects who grabbed his iPhone 4 and fled.
Police are hoping the CTA's surveillance cameras will help the investigation.
