Four men were shot, one of them critically injured, in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side this afternoon.
The four were shot outside at 1:55 p.m. in the 5500 block of South Ashland Avenue.
All four ran away after being wounded and one who was shot in the leg collapsed inside a cell phone store.
The victim most seriously hurt was a man shot in the head. He was in critical condition.
The other three victims are younger and in their early 20s. They suffered wounds that are believed not to be life-threatening. One was shot in the shoulder, while another suffered gunshot wounds to both legs and the third was shot in the leg.
Two victims were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn and two to Stroger Hospital.
