The shooting happened at 4:05 p.m. on the 3600 block of West 16th Street.
A 27-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were standing on the northeast corner of Millard and 16th street when they heard shots ring out. Then then felt pain and realized they had been shot.
The woman sustained a graze wound and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where her condition had stabilized. The man was taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County with a gunshot wound to his right leg where his condition had also stabilized
