A 16-year-old boy suffered a graze wound to the head when he was shot in the Humboldt Park neighborhood late this morning.
Police responded to a call of shots fired about 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of West Chicago and North Trumbull avenues and found the high school student shot.
He suffered a graze wound to the head and was taken to Norwegian-American Hospital, who said the wound is not life-threatening.
Police did not know the circumstances of the shooting because the victim was not cooperating with investigators.
