UIC student attacked at knifepoint

Authorities are looking for two men involved in the assault of a University of Illinois at Chicago student who was sexually attacked at knifepoint over the weekend in the Illinois Medical District neighborhood.
 The two grabbed the victim and covered her head and eyes with a dark hat on Paulina Street just south of Harrison Street about 2:45 p.m. Jan. 28.
While armed with a knife, they led her to a vehicle and pushed her inside where she was sexually assaulted, punched and pushed out of the vehicle.
Both men battered and attacked her.
 She passed out and awoke lying in a parking lot in the 700 block of South Paulina Street
She was treated and a nearby hospital and released.

The alert says the men sought both are black with a medium to dark complexion and are about the same height -- 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8.
One is in his late 20s and was wearing a black hoodie and weighs about 185 pounds, while the other is in his early 20s, about 160 pounds and was wearing a black and blue hoodie.

A Harrison Area detective said the victim, 24, was not robbed and said no arrests have been made as of Thursday afternoon.
