Passenger killed when vehicle crashes into parked cars in Austin

A 34-year-old man was pronounced dead today after the vehicle he was in struck a series of parked cars on the West Side.
Police are questioning the man who was behind the wheel when it struck the vehicles at about 5 a.m. on the 1600 block of North Laramie Avenue.
Claudio Eareenas was a rear-seat passenger of the vehicle that crashed into the other cars. He was pronounced dead at 5:27 a.m. at West Suburban Hospital, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
