Man dies after being shot on Southwest Side street

A 26-year-old man died this morning following a shooting that also wounded another man Tuesday night,.
Kenneth Bowens was shot in the head in the 2400 block of West 71st Street and was declared dead at 9:21 a.m. at Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
The victim was shot about 6 p.m. Tuesday in a shooting that left another man wounded in the leg
