Two armed suspects were arrested this morning following a North Side home invasion in which two people were shot.
The victims in the home invasion were taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in serious-to-critical condition, according to the Fire Department. No other information on the victims was available.
The home invasion took place about 8:42 a.m. in the 3400 block of North Lawndale Avenue in the Avondale neighborhood and responding officers stopped and arrested two male suspects in the area.
Weapons were recovered during the arrest.
