Alexander Vesey, 35, of the 3100 block of West Washington, faces five felony counts of robbery with a firearm and one count of aggravated battery causing great bodily harm. Marcus Washington, 34, of the 5300 Block of West Van Buren, was charged with two felony counts of robbery with a firearm.
On Saturday, Cook County Criminal Court Judge Jackie Portman ordered Vesey held on $400,000 bond and Washington held on $300,000 bond.
Vesey and Washington approached their victims in open garages or alleys and robbed them at gunpoint.
On Thursday, they approached two men in a garage in the 4600 block of West Schubert, showed a handgun and robbed them of money and cell phones, police said. The victims gave police a description and license plate of the get-away vehicle.
