A 33-year-old man was shot in the knee near Jackson Park on the South Side Saturday evening.
The shooting happened about 6:50 p.m. on the 6800 block of South Blackstone Avenue.
The man was struck in the left knee by gunfire, Baety said. He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stable.
