Teen found fatally shot on Far South Side

A 17-year-old boy was discovered fatally shot on a street in the city's Roseland neighborhood, police said today.
Officers arriving to calls of a person shot in the 10700 block of South Wentworth Avenue just before 9:45 p.m. Monday found the teen on the ground with a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest, police said, citing early reports.

Police said that the teen had been walking on the sidewalk when shots rang out and he was struck. Exactly where the shots came from wasn't clear
