Police find boy, 13, on street shot in head

Police Tuesday morning found a 13-year-old boy shot in the head in the city's Brainerd neighborhood on the South Side.
Officers responding to calls of a person shot in the 1300 block of
West 91st Street
 at about 9:15 a.m. found the unresponsive boy on the street, police said. He had a single gunshot wound to the head.
He was rushed to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he remained in critical condition late Tuesday, police said
Police hadn't located any witnesses to the shooting and still hadn't determined how it occurred. A police source said the boy was a Chicago Public School student.
