A 13-year-old boy was killed when he rode his mini bike into traffic on the city's South Side, police said this morning.
The boy, identified this morning as Antonio Williams, of the 300 blcok of West 42nd Place, had been driving the motorized bike in a parking lot in the 300 block of West 43rd Street around 9 p.m. Monday, when he drove into the street and was struck by a westbound vehicle, police said, citing early reports.
The boy was taken to Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
