A 20-month-old toddler was taken to the hospital in critical condition Wednesday night after falling from a third-floor window of an apartment building in the Englewood neighborhood on the city's South Side.
The incident happened about 7:30 p.m. on the 7100 block of South Eggleston Avenue, said Police News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.
The toddler was taken in critical condition to Comer Children's Hospital.
