A 41-year-old man died after he was intentionally struck by a vehicle this morning on the city's Southwest Side in what police said was a possible gang-related incident.
The incident happened about 12:27 a.m. on the 4000 block of South Kedzie Avenue, police said.
Preliminary reports said the victim was targeted and struck by a vehicle. He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police are calling the incident possibly gang-related. As of 4:45 a.m., no one was in custody.
