Boy, 16, slain in Brighton Park drive-by shooting

A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed late Wednesday in a drive-by shooting in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the city's Southwest Side, police said.
Juan Bautista, of 3522 S. Francisco Ave., was standing in an alley on the 3700 block of South Albany Avenue at about 9:50 p.m., when a dark-colored SUV drove by, police said, citing early reports.

Someone inside the vehicle opened fire, striking the boy in the back, police said. He was dead at the scene.
Police believe the shooting was gang related.
