Police are searching for a man who they ssaid posed as a police officer Sunday evening and demanded cash and sex from a woman in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
The incident happened shortly after 5 p.m. at an apartment on the 2000 block of North Seminary Avenue, police said. The man arrived at the apartment and received a palm reading from the woman police said was visiting from New York.
After the phony police officer got a reading, he started demanding cash and sex from the woman, police said. The woman fled the scene.
Police described the man as between 20 to 30 years old, about 5-foot-4 and 125 to 140 pounds. Police said he was wearing dark blue jeans, white gym shoes and a baseball cap.
