A 25-year-old man was shot and wounded this afternoon in the Homan Square neighborhood on the city's West Side .
The victim was struck by gunfire at about 1:50 p.m. in the 3600 block ofWest Flournoy Street , police said.
The man suffered a gunshot wound to left leg and a graze wound to his lower torso, said police spokesman Phil Armstrong, citing preliminary information.
