Re-enactment marks 150th anniversary of Civil War's start

Amid joggers and traffic, Lincoln Park resonates with cannon fire and the sounds of a Union Army camp lifeCannon blasts roared through Lincoln Park behind the Chicago History Museum this weekend as soldiers readied rifles and neighbors marched into the park to transport themselves back to the war that would divide the nation, part of a series of re-enactments to mark the start of the Civil War 150 years ago.

What a city of contrasts, a Civil War Re-anactment is played out in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood, while a real Uncivil War is played out in Chicago's Englewood, West Pullman, etc. neighborhoods everyday.
