Man found shot to death in South Side apartment

A 20-year-old man was found shot to death inside an East Chatham residence this afternoon, officials said.
The victim, identified by the medical examiner’s office as Deshawn Davis, was found inside an apartment in the 7900 block of South Greenwood avenue just after 3 p.m. with apparent gunshot wounds to his head and arm, said Police News Affairs Officer Veejay Zala.Davis was found by his mother and pronounced dead on the scene, police said.
