At about 11 p.m., a 27-year-old man was shot in his leg on the 3200 block of North Wolcott Avenue in the Rosco Village neighborhood.
He was standing outside when a man left a black vehicle and opened fire with a handgun before fleeing the scene.

Woman robbed, sexually assaulted in Lincoln Park
A woman was robbed and sexually assaulted at gunpoint in Chicago’s Lincoln Park neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
An unidentified man attacked the woman at gunpoint in the 2600 block of North Wilton Avenue, a few blocks from the DePaul University campus, at 2:30 p.m., police said. No other information on the incident was available.BEAT 1933

1 fatally wounded, 1 injured in North Side stabbing
A man was fatally wounded and another injured in a stabbing this morning in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on the city's North Side,.
Shortly before 1 a.m., the two were stabbed during a fight on the sidewalk with several other people in the 1100 block of West Wrightwood Avenue. A man, described as being in his 20s, was wounded in the chest and abdomen and was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. He has not yet been officially identified.
A second victim, 18, was stabbed in his buttocks.

Woman battered and robbed in Lakewiew
woman was attacked and robbed in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood, around 2:30 a.m..
The crime occurred on the 1000 block of West Belmont Avenue.
A black male suspect hit the woman in the head with an unknown object, stole her purse, and a small amount of cash.
An eyewitness told investigators the mugger struck the woman with a black gun.
The robbery suspect is 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-3 and in his early to mid-twenties. His hair was styled in dreadlocks.

North Side bank branch robbed
A Bank of America branch on Chicago's North Side was robbed this morning.
About 9:06 a.m., a man walked into the branch at 3215 N. Lincoln Ave. in Lakeview, went up to a teller, announced the robbery, and "threatened harm if his demands for cash were not met,". The man was given an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank on foot in an unknown direction.
No weapon was seen.
The man is described in the release as being white, 50-60 years old, 5-feet-9-inches to 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He had a mustache and was wearing a dark T-shirt and an orange camouflage hunting cap.
