Officers found a wounded man at about 2:20 a.m. at the CTA station at Lawrence Avenue, but police said he had been shot at the Argyle station about two blocks north. He was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in good condition.
Police discovered a crime scene on a train after it stopped in the CTA yard south of 95th Street. Authorities found blood near the operator's station in the train.
