A 22-year-old man died in a South Side crash Monday afternoon.
He was a passenger in a car whose driver lost control aout 2:50 p.m. as they traveled north in the 6600 block of Jeffery Boulevard. The driver, 23, is in custody and suspected of driving while intoxicated.
The car skidded into southbound traffic and was hit by on an oncoming car on its passenger side.
Loveless, of the 3500 block of South Rhodes Avenue, was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and pronounced dead there about 3:45 p.m.
