An Alsip man has been charged in connection with the sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl after DNA evidence linked him to the South Side attack.
Arteria Austin Jr., 23, of the 4100 block of West 127th Street was charged this afternoon with one count of aggravated criminal sexual assault.
The charge stems from a Nov. 9 attack that occurred on the 5100 block of South Wabash Avenue. According to police crime data, the assault happened in a hallway or porch of a residence.
Austin was arrested Tuesday after he was identified as the attacker through DNA evidence
