In the first shooting, two victims were in the 1100 block of West Glenlake Avenue on the Far North Side when someone shot them about 10:35 a.m.
One victim was taken to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston while the other
was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center. Both were initially listed in
serious-to-critical condition. One of the men was 20 and the other was 24.
The 20-year-old who was taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was
pronounced dead at 11:27 a.m.
The person who began shooting at the men may have been in a wheelchair.
