A 64-year-old man died after his car plunged into Lake Michigan at Balbo Drive,
and police say they are investigating whether he suffered a seizure.
The
car had been crossing Lake Shore Drive at Balbo before it left the road and
entered the water about 10:30 p.m. Thursday. Divers reached the
car, broke a window and pulled out Steven Halperin
Halperin was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced
dead at 11:07 p.m.
Divers found no one else in the car
