A 60-year-old man was shot during a robbery attempt in the Austin neighborhood
The older man is in stable condition at Mount Sinai Hospital after he was
shot in the 5000 block of West Division Street in the Austin neighborhood.
Two men approached him about 8:45 p.m. and demanded his things. He refused
and a struggle over the man's phone ensued, ending when one of the two robbers
shot him
