Two men were hurt Tuesday night when a gunman dressed in black opened fire,
striking both men in the city's Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.
The shooting happened 8 p.m. in the 8300 block of South
Carpenter Street.
The victims, ages 23 and 24, were
walking down the street when the gunman approached and shot at both men.
The 23-year-old was struck in
the buttocks while the second man was hit in the left leg. Both
victims were taken to John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, where their
conditions stabilized.
