A woman in her 40s and an 11-month-old baby girl died in an extra-alarm fire that
destroyed three homes in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side this
morning.
Fire officials said they received reports on the
scene that two people were unaccounted for but had difficulty getting inside the
building where the fire started in the 6700 block of South Emerald Avenue
shortly before 11 a.m.
The fire was brought under control around noon, and the baby was found on the
first floor of the home and a 49-year-old woman on the second floor

The poor baby was at a babysitter's house, and the babysitter left the 11 month old child alone in the house while she was out throwing away garbage. This poor kid never stood a chance on life.
U say that like she was shot. She died in a house fire, clearly a tragic but an accident. Not all of the details were given, but I'm sure no one had a method lab going. There r responsible "blacks" out here. We r criticized for everything. She is in heaven though. God bless the families. If u meant no harm by that statement, my apology, but it sounds as if ur placing blame on mom, or babysitter for taking out trash.

And race has nothing to do with it, either. They could be green with orange polka dots...you don't leave a baby unattended.
Ok if u or anyone had an 11 month old at home and they were sleep or in play pen, u clean up while u can. Who's to say anyone would b around at all to watch baby while she did this. Just don't take trash out. U know people r quick to judge and place blame. Whatever. I just know when my kids were that young I tried to do as much house work as possible while they were sleeping. And if that makes someone irresponsible, than to each its own. It was an an accident, if not she'd b charged w/ murder. Damn u all r harsh on this site, no facts, no placing urself in someone else's shoes, no mercy. U must b a perfectionist at everything u do. Mistake free in life Hugh!
The fire started before she left, and this black bitch just left kid , and lied her damn fool head off , saying she took out the trash. This bitch did not even try to go back in to save a life. She is a cold blooded murder!

How far away was the garbage? How long did it take? It is odd that only during these times a fire starts? I sat BS!
Clean up, yes. Leave the house? No. Odd a very intense fire started in the "few minutes" she took out trash and couldnt get back in? It is suspicious.
I agree. She may have run out of the house on instinct. Not her baby so not her first thought.
