 21-year-old man shot in Austin

About 2 a.m. in the 300 block of North Central Avenue in the city’s Austin neighborhood, a 21-year-old man who police said was a gang member went to visit his girlfriend and was standing outside of the Austin Station Apartments when a someone from a rival gang ran up to him and fired multiple times.
The victim was shot several times in the left leg and collapsed between two cars parked in the front of the building.
He was taken in “stable” condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
Police said two bullets hit and shattered the rear window of one of the cars while another pieced the window of a residence across the street, southeast of the shooting scene. No one inside the home was hit

 24-year-old man shot in Avondale

At 10:50 p.m. in the 3300 block of North Whipple Street in the Avondale neighborhood, a 24-year-old man was walking on a sidewalk when a dark colored SUV passed and someone inside fired shots, hitting the man in the right arm. He was taken in good condition to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.

Man shot in Woodlawn

A bout 9 p.m. Friday a man showed up at University of Chicago Hospitals with a gunshot wound to the buttocks that he suffered in the 1400 block of East 61^st Street in the city’s Woodlawn neighborhood.
An investigation revealed the victim had been shot by a friend of his, by accident, as they were watching movies with two other people and playing with the gun.
The victim was struck in the left inner thigh and the bullet lodged in his left buttock. He was later transported to Mount Sinai Hospital where his condition was good
