When Azariah Hill, a Morgan Park High School sophomore, looked outside his
bedroom window, he saw a naked 14-year-old girl being sexually assaulted in the
backyard of his Washington Heights neighborhood home.
As Hill shouted from his second-floor bedroom for the attacker to stop, his
mother, Marilyn Cooper, had grabbed her younger son's child-size scooter from
